As you would probably know DJ is off the bike for most likely the next 9 months due to waiting on knee surgery but thankfully for him he has another passion outside of riding which is shooting photos and filming. He has been working on this Melbourne video for a good 5 months and the end result is fantastic…
Today we are stoked to release the first section featuring Daniel Johnson from The Division Project DVD. DJ came through with some real solid shit and although blew his knee out in March already had enough footage for something special. DJ’s messed up his knee the 2nd day of the month long trip he had planned in the USA but he has kept himself busy shooting the happenings surrounding him. He recently published some real nice shots that you can check here.
About 6 months ago DJ tried this large 360 running off a high of clocking some solid clips earlier in the day. Unfortunately the 5 block got the better of him. Basically he 360’d it as if he was doing a 3 hop which caused him to over rotate and punch himself in the face.
We never used the crash clip incase he wanted to go back and get it done but after folding his foot and not being able too ride for 4 months because of this crash he called it a day on this one.
So we spent the past 2 years filming this video as DJ wanted to get some real solid stuff all filmed within the CBD of Melbourne, Australia. Check DJ’s signature Aesthetic bars right here. Thanks to TCU for premiering it aswell.
